Motion

For this set of photos, i was trying to convey the concept of motion in single shot pictures. For these photos i thought black and white would work best for all of them. I took all of these photos around school. I tried to use people in this set as much as I could. Motion on Motion. The photos that are not in B&W are the photos that use the concept of light in motion. We used a glow stick in a dark room and various people would swing the glow stick basically painting a picture on a picture.

Depth #2

In these photos i tried to capture depth using repetition and foreground and background. in some photos i was also able to capture depth using the past concepts of leading lines and the rule of thirds. if you look closely in many pictures you'll see that i don't just use one concept. look closely :)

Depth #1

Depth #1

These seven pictures are examples of the perception of depth. I tried to focus on city life, seeing as we are attending school in the middle of one. My first picture I was trying to capture how depth highlights the "ongoing" of the streets, (so one street after another after another.) One of my other photos is a drew hallway, basically still trying to highlight the row of lockers looking into the end of the hallway. In all my photos, i try to show that "light at the end of the tunnel"as you could put it. The leading lines are very visible in my last photo which captures the way the power lines go on.

Rule of Thirds

For this set of pictures, I used the Photography concept of the Rule of Thirds. In each photo, you can imagine the picture divided into thirds. This concept helps by making a certain part of the picture stand out more than the rest.
