for this series i tried to follow the work of Mathew Brady. Mathew Brady was a Civil War portrait photographer who took many portraits of famous people. (including Abraham Lincoln!) Just like Brady, i took many portraits of important people around the Drew School community. For my series, i tried to copy the look of his photos by using just B&W. Thank you models!
the one with Mr.Ledyard is great. i reminded me of Avadons portraits.

ReplyDeleteI think this series did a great job of capturing famous people around the school, and I definetly don't think I deserve to be in a series with all of these legends. Mr. Mcgee has so much attitude, and you were able to capture every bit of it, as well as everyone else's. Great work.
ReplyDeleteI really like the variations in lighting and mood in every image. The way you capture different facial expressions helps create different themes and understandings of your model.
